  • Generation of activated oxygen (hydrogen peroxide, H₂O₂) through oxidation-reduction reactions caused by zinc ionization
  • Continuous generation of hydrogen peroxide in water and its decomposition into oxygen (Ca(OH)₂)
  • Activated oxygen suppresses algae growth and sterilizes microorganisms through oxidation of intracellular components
Conclusion
  • Improves green tide conditions through a physical method without introducing harmful chemicals
  • Eco-friendly technology that preserves aquatic ecosystems and maintains a healthy environment
  • Economical solution with reduced water treatment costs and simple installation, helping prevent and control algal blooms

Changes in Green Tide After GT IONIZER Installation
Initial 1–4 Days After Installation of the Algae Removal System
Category Initial Algae Condition After 2 Days After 4 Days
Change
Turbidity (NTU) 31.0 6.25 3.79
Zn²⁺ Concentration (ppm) 0 0.34 0.46

As the algae settled to the bottom, turbidity decreased to approximately one-tenth of the initial level.
It was confirmed that zinc ions dissolved from the GT IONIZER inhibited algae growth.

Before Installation of the Algae Removal System – 10-Day Comparison
Category Before Installation (Day 0) After 7 Days After 10 Days
Non-Installed
(Control Group)
Installed
(Experimental Group)

It was confirmed that algae growth was significantly reduced compared to the control group due to the generation of zinc ions from the GT IONIZER.
The zinc concentration in drinking water was reduced to a low level of 0.46 ppm, which is below the drinking water standard of 3 ppm, confirming stable water quality during GT IONIZER operation.
